Hey Did my first Dial a shot with Sir AlCantHang while playing the 16k on Ft wensday night.
Probably not a good idea to start drinking 18 year old scotch while playing but what bad will
come from 1 shot right???

hanging in there

I decided to start playing at absolute again. Since they always have Bonuses.
Even though the Players are Pretty tight It can still be profitable with the bonus and Rakeback.

1/2 takes forever to clear but 2/4 and 3/6 almost every hand gets raked .50
so it moves along.

Ft has been up and down lately I seem to do well but will have 1 or 2 hands that don't go my way,
and it takes away most of my profit.

I also seem to get into a hole early and fight my way back to even which isn't always fun.
But the fact that I can get down 50-100 and stay focused and grind it back has to mean something doesn't it????

Trying to hang in there and work on the game, Trying to focus on playing good cards and Isolating the bad players. But sometimes it just doesn't work out. Makes me want to rip out my
hair.

Maybe I am bad and just haven't figured it out yet?

I will let you know if and when I do.

I'm not Dead Yet!

Had a Decent day today which is the first in awhile.

Nothing major But just played well and made some money.
+120 today playing 1/2 and 2/4 limit.

played in a local tourney last night. Didnt even come close but I played well justdidnt feel like rebuying. My first and only table was SO aggressive it was crazy.

just couldn't get anything going. No cards and a bunch of push Monkeys is not a good thing.
I really do enjoy playing live thou, To be able to see the tells some people have is a fun.

there are some interesting people at that game But I will discuss that next post.

Getting Fucking Killed

I have been getting killed playing ring games online lately.
I have dropped most of my profits for the last 2 months in the last week.
the only really good day I have had was playing live at foxwoods.
So I am taking a break from online Limit holdem for a week to
look over my hands and do some remedial reading. I will still play some
Sng's since I am not bleeding money in those.

Foxwoods

Went to foxwoods yesterday got there around 10, which was nice since there was no wait for a table.

sat down at a 4/8 limit table and dropped about 90 bucks in 30 min. No problem so i plunked down another hundie and proceeded to win all my money back plus 250 more in the next 6 hours.

a few very bad players a few weak one and 1 very good player and 1 that thought he was the shit.
make for a very good table. when a raise to 8 preflop gets 5 callers that is my kind of table.

i wish foxwoods was closer since I would play there more often since the cash games are soft at the lower levels.

at 10am there was no wait at 12 there was a 2 hour wait for a 4/8 table and when i left at 5:30 the waitlist was 50 deep on every game.

Variance is a bitch

variance is a bitch. Yesterday was one of those day's
where every thing went bad. -$200 for the day.
so there go my 5 day streak of positive days.

On a good note I won a seat in the $200 winners choice tourney on saturday night for a wpt/wsopc seat.

should be fun.
