Got the Call that my friend mike was having a 3 table tourney at his house.
Now its a friendly game with a Mix of players from not having played much.
Its a tougher game than you would expect since some of these Folks don't know how to let go of a hand.
it was$30 for T2000 with 20 min rounds with unlimited $30 rebuys for the first hour. We started with 22 or 23 players on 3 tables. I ended up at the short table of 7.
I ended up takig 470 for first. so A nice win and I think I played reasonably well and didnt tilt
after taking a couple of beats but just focused and Mowed em down.

Soo Close
Played the 10+1 on full tilt last night with about 190 peeps running.
Played well , As well as I can with a shortstack and hung around waiting for a hand and waited and waited and waited. Not so much fun when you can't get a card Higher than a 10.
I sometimes have a problem with patience especially early in a MTT, And you can double that feeling when you drop to T1000 about 5 min in.
But I managed to squelch the urge to press and was patient and Managed to make it down to 35th which is 6 out of the money But I am pretty happy with the way I played, I took 2 beats in a row that knocked me down and procceded to scratch and claw my way to 35th.
here are a few hands I wish i had played better.

I had a ton of outs and couldn't catch a single one.
this was with 38 or so left. I was probably alittle aggressive with that last hand But
was hoping to steal.
I do want to thank Ryan from Absinthetics for lettin me ask him his opinions.
peace

Absinthetics
Ryan over at Absinthetics has a great post about tourney play and the Pitfalls you will face along the way.
Now head over to Absinthetics and read the rest."6. Cowboys will break your heart.
Don’t they always? Almost one time in three, that ace-rag playin’ motherfucker is going to spike on you"
Just in case you didn't know Ryan is one hell of a poker player, And a nice guy who always is a class act. So head over there and check out his writings.
