Yet Another Quickie

+107
Playing at Poker Blue during my 30 min luch break.
Had to step up to 3/6 since i didn't want to play 2/4 short.
still working on that aspect of my poker game.

I don't get why these donkeys don't know how to lay a hand down.
I mean AK is probably no good when there are 4 to a flush right?
but they just call you down and fold at showdown.

Poker Blue

Played a quick 50 min session at PokerBlue
my referral id is: gzuschrist

+125
won 1 big pot when i limped with AA from UTG (I know this is bad)
but it had been getting raised up from the 2 donkeys in LP.
so true to form 2 more limp then the donkey in LP raises the button reRaises and I cap it. so 4 people call 4 bets preflop and My AA is good.

hopefully this sunday I can win the tourney and go back to the wsop.

Fullt Tilit again

Go home to late to play in the 10k tourney.
so i played in a 2 table SNG.

Patience.

ended up taking 1st after about 15 min of headsup play. for a nice win of $144.
started heads up with over 20k but he managed to win a few coinflips and had me down to
about 7-8k but i hung in there and worked my way back up.

Just be patient.

then in a couple of hands it was over just like that.

Going Full Tilt

I have heard good things about the tourneys at full tilt so last night I found my way over there doing a Promotion for PokerSourceOnline.

I bought into the 24+2 8k guarenteed. I started off ok got up to about 2k before I lost almost
all of my chips. Down to 500 but blinds were only at 30/60 so i had time.

My biggest weakness in tourneys is being patient. But I waited and waited and waited for a hand.
Finally I got KK and got a caller. doubled up shortly after that i doubled again and I was back in bussiness. built my stack up to about 10K before I got moved to the table with the chip leader to my immediate left. and there he proceeded to stay. just kinda hung around stealing when i could.
He seemed to stay out of my way and me out of his.

finally they break my table and get moved to my new seat and who is to my left???????
none other than my buddy the chip leader, Jeez I can't catch a break.

I hang out stealing until the money which i make easily since i was 4th in chips with 40 left but got no great hands to speak of and knew that once the money hit all the short stacks would let loose. so hang out and we are down to 30 then 20 then 15 hmmm. I steal a few times since i have dropped to around 20k and lo and behold I make the Final table all from dead with 500 chips. I get knocked out 7th when i am in the BB with blinds of 1k/2k and the button limps
I have A2os and check flop come AA4, wow i am thinking of doubleing up since the limper had me by about 1k. he checks i think for about 1 sec then Push. he thinks and thinks then calls.
Yeah baby. ohh wait he has A10. dammm no 2 saves me and i am out 7th.

but all and all i was happy since I was patient and waited for the right hand to put it all in with.

Poker Blue Quickie

Man I love these quickies.

played for about 20 min during lunch ended up about +20.
I will finish my 4 hours tonight.
too bad they don't have more traffic.

they just changed the freeroll they are adding more money to it so if you make the final table
you will actually get something other than a kick in the nuts.

another Quickie

another 25 min session at PB

Poker Blue wsop freeroll

- Freeroll to the WPT or WSOP. Each week Poker Blue give away a seat to a high profile WPT or WSOP event. With an average of just 125 players in these freerolls, the value is huge. To get entry, all you have to do is play 4 hours or more at real money $1/$2 (or higher) tables. The freeroll takes place every Sunday.

my referral id is: gzuschrist
https://player.pokerblue.com/Register/

so logged in at 5:00 to kill some time before winning my wsop seat and sat down at a
2/4 table proceed to win $110 in about 30 min. The players at this site don't mind
calling down with bottom pair on a board of AKQ and they will flip over 33 and wonder why
they didn't win.

So the tourney starts with 147 or so. but 10 min in they pick up all the people who never showed and we are down to 127 or so.

never really got it going, But I was not patient enough
that is my biggest leak in tourneys.
if I can make it thru the first 30 min I can do pretty well.
maybe I should sit out the first 30 min every time.

Well I will have to win it next week.

UB saturday afternoon

So maybe I should just stay off of Ub during the day.

I sat down at the 4/8 table it has mini blinds of 1/2.
and proceed to get run over by the 1 obnoxious guy at the table.
he does tell me and anyone else who hadn't turned his chat off that he
was a limit pro and that I didnt know how to play.

sigh must be nice when you get runner runner to a flush after calling 3 cold with bottom pair.

so down $120 saturday afternoon. no big deal just not my day.

but added him to the buddy list i will have to look him up another time.
