BBT3 AND AL Can't Hang RulesIn case you didnt know it this
Cool Kat arranged for the BBT3 . here is
Al's details from AL's blog of the BBT3
"We're getting closer to the Sunday kickoff of Battle of the Blogger Tournament 3 and I have most of the payout structure set in stone for your viewing pleasure. There are still some minor details to be worked out but the big ticket prizes are locked up. I'll try to answer as many questions as I can through out the challenge, feel free to drop the questions in comments or shoot me an email.
- As we've done in the past, this is open to bloggers and readers alike. This will obviously rub some people the wrong way but there isn't a lot I can do about it. The admin work on this challenge is going to be daunting enough as it is. Besides, as I've always said, this is a battle of the blogger hosted tournaments. They were never limited to bloggers-only before the challenge.
- 100% of the money used for tournament buyins will stay with that prizepool (with the exception of knockout tournaments). Full Tilt is not taking extra juice from the buyins to fund these prizes. That means we are going to have some monster payouts in each individual tournament on top of the prizes provided by FTP.
- We are going to be tracking the leaderboard throughout the entire challenge and will be paying out money plus FTP swag to the top players at the end. Below is how we will payout the final standings at the end of the challenge ($2,600 in prize money):
1st - $750
2nd - $600
3rd - $500
4th - $400
5th - $350
6th - 20th on the leaderboard will receive an FTP Jersey
Below is the formula we are using for the point system, top 25% of each tournament field will receive leaderboard points:
Points = 10 * [sqrt(n)/sqrt(k)] * [1+log(b+0.25)]
Where:
n is the number of entrants
k is the place of finish (k=1 for the first-place finisher, and so on)
b is the buy-in amount in dollars.
The leaderboard will be updated daily then loaded on BBTChallenge.com and on FTP's promotion page.
- In addition to tracking the overall leaderboard, we will also have a Player of the Month for March, April and May. The player who earns the most points during the events of that month will win one of the $2,000 WSoP Bracelet packages.
- The rest of the seats will be awarded at the end of the challenge in a Tournament of Champions. For the ToC We will be awarding the two Main Event seats and the remaining two $2,000 WSoP Bracelet packages. All you need to do in order to qualify for the Tournament of Champions is win one of the scheduled events during the next three months.
Those are your specific payouts. There are still some things being ironed out concerning the end of challenge freeroll but those will be done shortly. There is also a write-in contest that will not involve the TOC, instead it will award a $2,000 travel package for the winner to blog for FTP from the series. I will have more information on that once the challenge kicks off.
With the added pressure of big prizes added to the regular blogger events, I suspect that things will get a little testy. I'm appealing to my friends, fellow bloggers, readers and random players to enjoy this challenge as much as possible. This will likely as big a payout as anyone is going to give us as private tournament hosts. Take advantage of the huge schools of dead money fish that will be rushing for their shot at glory when in fact they are just bloating the prize pools. Let's try to keep a sane head about ourselves and not let the added pressure make this an unpleasant experience.
I will update when I have more information but this should be enough to get everyone prepared for the 3 month onslaught.
Good luck to everyone, may the deck smack you in the face."

There it is. Amazing if you ask me.
Full Tilt Poker is going to send 2 of us too the WSOP Main Event. And a few more to the smaller buy in tourney's at the WSOP.
Tonights RiverChasers will probably be the Last reasonable small sized tourney for the next few months. with only 45 people.
The Only thing I don't like is the top 25% getting the points with some of the fields getting up into the 100's it sometimes means playing for 2-3 hours and missing the points.
the first BBT it was top 50% for each tourney but 25 is not enough. its tough enough to have to grind thru 110 donkeys to finish 33 and not get any points. after 3 hours play. its not like you could fold to the points when it was top 30%. But what do I know I am just a D lister who sucks at poker.
But other than that The BBT3 is fucking awsome. the prizes are amazing and AL CANT HANG IS AMAZING.
