Finding a long lost friend and a Nappy Headed Hoes.

I will assume most people know what it is like to find a long lost friend.
Well yesterday thats what happened to me. Who was this person you might ask?
It is the Barber who gives good haircuts. Now I know that doesn't seem like much but With my Mixed Racial background My hair grows funny. Curly and Wavy. If I were a chick I would be a Nappy Headed Hoe. Now whats the big deal you say its only a barber but have you ever gone home from the barber shop and shaved your head??? I have, It seems some people are not capable of noticing when it looks fucked up after they are finished.

So I was excited to find RB in his new location.

RBS Barbershop
370 Burncoat St
Worcester, MA 01606
(508) 853-4252

So if you live in or around Worcester and need a great barber go see RB in his now location.

I do have a Question for my 69 readers. for those of you that host your blogs somewhere other than blogspot where do you do it? and how much does it cost?

BBT3 AND AL Can't Hang Rules

In case you didnt know it this Cool Kat arranged for the BBT3 . here is Al's details from AL's blog of the BBT3

"We're getting closer to the Sunday kickoff of Battle of the Blogger Tournament 3 and I have most of the payout structure set in stone for your viewing pleasure. There are still some minor details to be worked out but the big ticket prizes are locked up. I'll try to answer as many questions as I can through out the challenge, feel free to drop the questions in comments or shoot me an email.

- As we've done in the past, this is open to bloggers and readers alike. This will obviously rub some people the wrong way but there isn't a lot I can do about it. The admin work on this challenge is going to be daunting enough as it is. Besides, as I've always said, this is a battle of the blogger hosted tournaments. They were never limited to bloggers-only before the challenge.

- 100% of the money used for tournament buyins will stay with that prizepool (with the exception of knockout tournaments). Full Tilt is not taking extra juice from the buyins to fund these prizes. That means we are going to have some monster payouts in each individual tournament on top of the prizes provided by FTP.

- We are going to be tracking the leaderboard throughout the entire challenge and will be paying out money plus FTP swag to the top players at the end. Below is how we will payout the final standings at the end of the challenge ($2,600 in prize money):

1st - $750
2nd - $600
3rd - $500
4th - $400
5th - $350
6th - 20th on the leaderboard will receive an FTP Jersey

Below is the formula we are using for the point system, top 25% of each tournament field will receive leaderboard points:

Points = 10 * [sqrt(n)/sqrt(k)] * [1+log(b+0.25)]

Where:
n is the number of entrants
k is the place of finish (k=1 for the first-place finisher, and so on)
b is the buy-in amount in dollars.

The leaderboard will be updated daily then loaded on BBTChallenge.com and on FTP's promotion page.

- In addition to tracking the overall leaderboard, we will also have a Player of the Month for March, April and May. The player who earns the most points during the events of that month will win one of the $2,000 WSoP Bracelet packages.

- The rest of the seats will be awarded at the end of the challenge in a Tournament of Champions. For the ToC We will be awarding the two Main Event seats and the remaining two $2,000 WSoP Bracelet packages. All you need to do in order to qualify for the Tournament of Champions is win one of the scheduled events during the next three months.

Those are your specific payouts. There are still some things being ironed out concerning the end of challenge freeroll but those will be done shortly. There is also a write-in contest that will not involve the TOC, instead it will award a $2,000 travel package for the winner to blog for FTP from the series. I will have more information on that once the challenge kicks off.

With the added pressure of big prizes added to the regular blogger events, I suspect that things will get a little testy. I'm appealing to my friends, fellow bloggers, readers and random players to enjoy this challenge as much as possible. This will likely as big a payout as anyone is going to give us as private tournament hosts. Take advantage of the huge schools of dead money fish that will be rushing for their shot at glory when in fact they are just bloating the prize pools. Let's try to keep a sane head about ourselves and not let the added pressure make this an unpleasant experience.

I will update when I have more information but this should be enough to get everyone prepared for the 3 month onslaught.

Good luck to everyone, may the deck smack you in the face."

There it is. Amazing if you ask me. Full Tilt Poker is going to send 2 of us too the WSOP Main Event. And a few more to the smaller buy in tourney's at the WSOP.

Tonights RiverChasers will probably be the Last reasonable small sized tourney for the next few months. with only 45 people.

The Only thing I don't like is the top 25% getting the points with some of the fields getting up into the 100's it sometimes means playing for 2-3 hours and missing the points.

the first BBT it was top 50% for each tourney but 25 is not enough. its tough enough to have to grind thru 110 donkeys to finish 33 and not get any points. after 3 hours play. its not like you could fold to the points when it was top 30%. But what do I know I am just a D lister who sucks at poker.

But other than that The BBT3 is fucking awsome. the prizes are amazing and AL CANT HANG IS AMAZING.

Too Much Cheese?

30 slices of cheese? OK I have always said that you can never have too much cheese. I said that tonight as I was at D'Angelos getting my favorite number9 and said I wanted extra cheese and my you can never have too much cheese thought and he said Yes you can! Now I looked at him and asked how much that could be? he said that a
large would get 5 slices of cheese and extra cheese would be 10 total. So I got to thinking how many slices would be to many 15? No I bet 15 would be ok close too 20 I think would be alot. The Grinder man said they have one Gluttonus Pig of a customer who gets 30 fucking slices of cheese on his large grinder.

I Did ask if the Guys name was AL? and then I thought I will have to ask for them to put Bacon on this next time. He looked at me and smiled but said no. Seriously 30 slices of cheese. say that with me 30 slices of cheese please. OMG that is too much cheese I didnt think I would ever say that but there it is.

hmmm, I think maybe i will go back tommorrow and see if I can get Bacon, maybe for lunch. Too bad they don't deliver.

Full Tilt Major Update.

Full Tilt Major Update.
Read TilterDoug here.

"The "big update" is here! Lots of good stuff, here are the bigger items:

A) Tournament Dollars - Most people know what this is, so I won't get too into it. It does mean that you will be able to unregister from just about every tournament you satellite into and get T$ credited to your account.

B) Auto Top-Up - This was all you guys. Just go to "Options->Set Buy-In Preferences..." and you'll now see a checkbox under Ring Game Auto-Rebuy for Auto Top-Up. If you have it checked, you will be "topped up" to your preferred amount should you fall below it at the end of a hand.

C) Sit Out Next Blind - Or, more accurately, Sit Out Next Big Blind. Only found on Speed tables, and does just what it sounds like it does. We also changed the sit back in behavior on Speed tables so you no longer have to perfectly time your return so as not to post blinds out of position. Now when you click "I'm Back" you'll be put into "waiting for big blind" mode. So, if you haven't been playing the Speed tables for either reason, you should definitely check them out again.

D) Player Color Codes and Notes - The great feature suggestion by EWS87 in this thread has been implemented. You now see your color coded notes for players from the lobby. If you hover your mouse over a player you also see any specific notes you have on them. We also fixed the problem of losing notes if your client isn't shut down gracefully. When you click Save and Exit now on your note, the note actually saves right then and there. What a concept.

Other, less obvious, changes:

a) There is now a 12 hour self-exclusion option. AKA the "I'm totally drunk" option. (aka the wwonka69 lockout)

b) Satellites now end when the top prize has been reached! No more playing a satellite out for absolutely no reason.

c) You now have a little more time to post your blinds.

d) Three new chat policies have been implemented. The biggest and most obvious is that you can no longer chat while a player is all in and there is still action in the hand. We will also now be turning off observer chat for the final table of many of our larger tournaments (red pros excluded, we wouldn't want to deny de Wolfe the pleasure of berating everyone). And finally, in many of our satellites we will be turning off all chat as the bubble approaches.

e) Some windows have been revamped. You'll immediately notice the Cashier. The Bonus window and Buy In window have also had a facelift. You might notice slightly different behavior, hopefully for the better, in both.

There's probably some other stuff I'm forgetting, but those are the highlights. For some pretty pictures and possibly a little more explanation of the larger features, you can check out http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/newClientFeatures.php

BBT 3 a Good thing????Its crap like this that makes me wonder. I Mean since now that there are actual Prizes and AMAZING ONES AT THAT THANKS TO AL CAN'T HANG.

But now are we going to return to the Bitching about everyones play??? I mean wtf so so what that I just Played 2 and a half hours just to lose to a fucking terrible beat from a good Guy. I really mean that and the rest of this is not intended to point at him so dont take it that way.

But that is Poker and If you cant handle it then stop playing but for fuck sake cut out the Bullshit at the tables. I mean I know Don is good for atleast 2-3 good drunken rants. But so what that someone called your reraise preflop with whatever 2 fucking cards they are their cards and they have a right to play them as they see fit. Yes they may be fucking Morons but so fucking what they paid their money just like you and me.

[NumbBono]: well played
[NumbBono]: calling off those chips with 6-6
[NumbBono]: nice job
[NumbBono]: I don't know how you retards made it this far
Columbo777: just coin flipping
[NumbBono]: not really, but whatever
Columbo777: nothing i love better than being called a retard.
Columbo777: wtf?
[NumbBono]: I watch you play like crap every week, but you always get the best of me
Columbo777: I make a questionable call with 66 against a short stack and I play like crap every week?!
Columbo777: wtf?
MoFo_69: lol
MoFo_69: cant we all just get along
MoFo_69: or is everyone going to get pissy when they lose now?

But the Only Problem with the BBT3 is that we will see more and more of this Boorish Behavior. I am sure we will have record turnouts with all the fantastic prizes that Al managed to secure from Full Tilt Poker.

Ever Wonder??

Only in America .....do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front.

Only in America .....do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke.

Only in America .....do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters.

Only in America .....do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.

Only in America .....do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.

Only in America .....do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.

Only in America .....do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.

EVER WONDER....

Why the sun lightens our hair, but darkens our skin ?

Why women can't put on mascara with their mouth closed?

Why don't you ever see the headline "Psychic Wins Lottery"?

Why is "abbreviated" such a long word?

Why is it that doctors call what they do "practice"?

Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor, and dishwashing liquid made with real lemons?

Why is the man who invests all your money, called a broker?

Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?

Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food?

Why didn't Noah swat those two mosquitoes?

Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?

You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?!

Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?

If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal?

Now that you've smiled at least once, it's your turn to spread the stupidity and send this to someone you want to bring a smile to (maybe even a chuckle)...in other words, send it to everyone. We all need to smile every once in a while.
