The cool thing is it updates during the day. Pretty cool.
At present, xplanet is a command line program only. Mario Franzbonenkamp has written a graphical front end to Xplanet version 1.0 and above called XPlanetControl.
Another option is to use winXPlanetBG (by Markus Koerner) which sits in the system tray and is very easy to configure and run.
WinXPlanet is what I use I found it to be very configurable.
